NEWBURGH, Ind. — “It seems like yesterday, but it seems like forever ago,” said Morgan Castillo, chef and owner of the Tin Fish, referring to her beginnings at the restaurant’s first location on Jennings Street in Newburgh.

She began working there when it opened in 2005. She bought it in 2007.

Recently, she built a brand new building to house the restaurant plus more commercial space and is rockin’ the popular seafood spot into its next era.

Tin Fish restaurant swimming to new historic Newburgh location

NEWBURGH, Ind. — Tin Fish is moving from its current Downtown Newburgh location and away from the river.

Owner Morgan Castillo said Tin Fish will move to 707 State St., in a newly constructed building at State Street and Sharon Road. A strip mall on the property caught fire about six years ago. It is currently at 300 W. Jennings St.
